 In 1910, the American Red Cross began training the American public in first aid. Since that time, the American Red Cross has continuously provided people with high quality educational programs from First Aid and CPR/AED training to drowning prevention and lifeguard training programs. In recognition of 100 years of training, the Red Cross is pleased to offer several promotions to our community during March is Red Cross Month!
| | In celebration of March is Red Cross Month, the Red Cross is offering CPR Saturday on March 27, 2010! Participants will learn all the skills needed to respond to a cardiac emergency for people age 12 and older. Participants that successfully complete all of the skills and the written exam will receive an American Red Cross certificate for CPR/AED - Adult, which is valid for one year from the date of completion.  Valid from March 1, 2010 to March 27, 2010. Not valid with any other offers or promotions.
| | | | |  | | To help businesses in the current economic climate, the Red Cross is extending the price for CPR Saturday to businesses that have 50 people or more! To take advantage of the price, organizations must have a minimum of 50 people for the training, which is scheduled on a specific date. The Red Cross will provide all of the classroom materials, instructor and training equipment.  Valid from March 1, 2010 to March 31, 2010. Not valid with any other offers or promotions. | | | |  | | For organizations that are interested in learning lifesaving skills but do not need a full certification, the American Red Cross Lunch-N-Learn series is perfect! In March, the Red Cross will be providing lunch-n-learn presentations focused on Compression-only CPR. In a one-hour presentation, participants will learn the basics of giving chest compressions to an adult patient suffering from a cardiac emergency. Each participant will receive the American Red Cross First Aid and CPR for Everyone Kit, which includes a CPR compression practice tool, DVD, quick reference first aid guide and a first aid quick reference wallet card.
