The best way of increasing a person's chance of saving victims of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) is to follow the Cardiac Chain of Survival:

  • Early Access to 9-1-1
  • Early CPR
  • Early Defibrillation
  • Early Advanced Care

The Zoll AED Plus assists rescuers in providing complete cardiac care through its unique Real CPR Help™.

Graphical Interface

The Zoll AED Plus combines the use of voice prompts, text displays and graphics to guide rescuers - both lay and professional - through the entire rescue process. From checking for signs of life to delivering a shock, the Zoll AED Plus is with the rescuer the entire way.

One Electrode

The Zoll AED Plus uses a single-piece pad for defibrillation. Through its unique design, the Zoll CPR-D pad helps the rescuer with proper placement of the pads on the victim and finding the correct hand placement for performing CPR, helping to eliminate common mistakes during the rescue process.

To further assist a rescuer, the Zoll AED Plus guides the rescuer to do proper CPR compressions. When giving compressions, the unit will tell the rescuer if compressions are effective.

Additional Features:

Pad Life

The Zoll AED pads have a 5-year shelf life. Each set of pads contains a rescue kit with gauze pad, scissors, breathing barrier and gloves.

Battery

The AED Plus™ is powered by ten Lithium batteries available at any retail camera store. In stand-by mode, the batteries last up to 5 years.
