The American Red Cross South Florida Region has announced the launch of the next generation of its CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers program - a 5½ hour training on how to help prevent and respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for adults, children and infants. The newly revised program is designed for individuals with a duty to act - EMS personnel, firefighters, athletic trainers, lifeguards and medical professionals, and includes:
Take Your Professionals to the Next Generation with the American Red CrossFor individuals certified as an instructor with other CPR/AED training agencies, the American Red Cross has never made it easier to crossover to provide Red Cross programs. With a new Quick Start instructor program, individuals already recognized as an instructor by other CPR/AED training agencies can complete an online program and be certified as an American Red Cross instructor. The program provides existing instructors with everything they need to get started with the American Red Cross - from Red Cross teaching standards to electronic access to participant and instructor materials.
