WHALE Tales teaches Kids Safe Water Habits

As summer approaches, the beaches and pools in South Florida offer everyone a respite from the heat.  With Longfellow the Whaleso many different water attractions available, summer fun is accessible to almost anyone!  Before you head out to your favorite swimming area, join the American Red Cross and SWIM Central in teaching safe water habits to your children!

American Red Cross Longfellow's WHALE Tales teaches children how to make good decisions to be safe in, on and around the water. WHALE Tales helps children learn about water safety in many different environments, such as pools, water-parks, lakes and rivers and even around the home.

In partnership with SWIM Central of Broward County, the American Red Cross is happy to offer WHALE Tales presentations to organizations throughout Broward County FREE!  The presentation is approximately 30 minutes and includes a coloring book based on grade level and stickers for each child that attends.  To request more information about WHALE Tales presentations or to schedule a presentation for your group, please complete the request form, and you will be contacted by a member of our aquatics safety staff.
